Automatic transmission repairs highly depend on accurate diagnosis. We have been rebuilding all models of transmissions in-house from the day we started, and our technicians have been in the transmission business for over 30 years. However we strive to keep up on training and diagnostic technology.
Manual transmissions are easier to diagnose, however new emission requirements and design changes make them difficult to work on without all the right tools. Understanding how Manual transmissions work help differentiate clutch & hydraulic problems from actual transmission problems.

We stock a large inventory of new and used parts because buying in large quantities helps us receive savings that we can pass on to our customers. We also have machine shop equipment such as welders, lathes, band saws, presses and drill presses to aid in all repairs.
Clutches will need to be replaced throughout the life of a vehicle. Drivers usually determine how long clutches can last. However, understanding why a clutch failed is important for proper repair. We diagnose the cause of failure to prevent future premature replacement. We have also selected our clutch distributors to ensure the best possible quality. We firmly believe that a flywheel must be resurfaced whenever a clutch is replaced to achieve maximum friction surface. Having an in-house machine shop, that includes a flywheel grinder ensures quick turn around time for our customers. Our clutches are backed by a 2 year or 24,000 mile warranty.
Many 4wd transfercases are now electronically controlled. Many are equipped with "automatic 4wd", torque-on-demand and other such options that improve driver experience, but are harder to diagnose and repair. Many of these systems are equipped with transfercase control modules. Sometimes minor wear in components can cause the electronics to not function properly. Much of the rebuilding process is the same once the diagnosis has been performed. We are here to assure your transfercase problems are resolved.

differentials
Differentials in rear wheel and 4 wheel drive vehicles determine output gear ratios. Gear Ratios can be changed to better fit your needs. For instance if you tow a lot around town you will want to be geared lower than if you drive long distances. They can be changed for fuel economy or power needs. We can re gear or simply replaced bad seals and bearings depending on your needs. Our knowledge of gear patterns will help achieve a quieter running differential and longer life.

We began with a flywheel grinder, our purpose was to speed up the clutch replacement process and get our customers back on the road. almost 20 years later we are equipped with different style of welders. We can weld steel, aluminum, magnesium, cast iron and high alloy steel. We also have presses, lathes, band saws and other specialty tools to manufacture or repair components. We can build custom roll bars, mount brackets, Diamond plate panels etc. Please visit us with any specialty repairs.
Torque Converter Shop
We have a complete Torque Converter Shop in-house. In an effort to minimize down time and have a better quality control we build our own converters. We also wholesale converters to other transmission re-builders in and out of state. We can build stock automotive, industrial and performance converters for race and heavy-duty applications. Recently popular Billet cover torque converters are available for Chev, Dodge and Ford Trucks with many options available for each. We are your resource for all of your torque converter needs.
Bumper to Bumper Mechanical Service
Our Complete Automotive services allow us to properly diagnose other mechanical problems that may cause transmission failure. Some problems may cause automatic transmissions to fail or fall into "Limp-Mode". Limp Mode is a factory setting that can set a transmission into 1 gear (usually 2nd or 3rd). When this occurs and the transmission does not shift it may feel as if the transmission failed, however this may be caused by engine performance or sensor problems. For this reason we perform engine tune-ups, electrical diagnosis and maintenance. Newer, low emission vehicles are highly sensitive to these type of performance issues.

Our Tow truck is not on police rotation or advertised for towing. It is reserved for our customers' needs. We are ready to pick you up during our normal business hours. It is free with major repair and discounted for minor repairs.
